I had the pleasure of meeting Elisabeth when we were working together to help her friend plan a surprise proposal for his girlfriend, who also happened to be Elisabeth’s close friend. Little did I know that this encounter would lead to our continued connection and eventually capturing Elisabeth and Nelson’s engagement session. It’s amazing how life intertwines and creates beautiful connections between people.

Elisabeth and Nelson have been together for over eight years and recently got engaged during their trip to Maui. They both have a passion for traveling and capturing special moments together.

They brought along their adorable dog, Lacey, who they adopted together to the engagement session. With her irresistible cuteness and playful nature, she brings an extra dose of joy and love to every moment they share. Lacey’s presence during their engagement session added an element of warmth and genuine happiness, capturing the essence of their bond as a complete and loving family.

As a Santa Barbara Engagement Photographer, I always find it magical to capture the love and special moments between couples. The rose garden at the mission provided a perfect backdrop with its blooming roses in various shades of pink.

The day was beautiful, with a mix of clouds and sunshine right before sunset, creating a lovely atmosphere for the shoot. During the session, Elisabeth and Nelson were relaxed and natural in front of the camera. Their love for each other was evident as they laughed and enjoyed each other’s company. It was clear that they were meant to be together, and the photos captured the warmth and affection they shared.
