The love between two souls is simply magical and there aren’t enough words to describe how they feel, especially when they decide to tie the knot. For this Santa Barbara engagement photoshoot, both the couple and I had so much fun!
The lovely pair met back a couple of years ago in Michigan and moved to Carpinteria in June of 2019. They dated for about two years, and recently, Nick finally popped the question and asked Rachel to marry him!
Let me tell you about this charming couple who had their engagement session at Elwood Bluffs. Both are young, energetic, creative, and successful in their own rights. Nick works in finance and loves making music. He even has his own clothing brand, which he does just for fun! Rachel has her own social media brand on YouTube & Instagram and loves creating YouTube videos and taking photos for her Instagram. She also works as a social media marketer for a non-profit organization — seriously, how creative & awesome she is! Both are so adventurous, love going to the beach, seeing new places, and trying out new food. While they love being out and having fun, they also like staying at home, just chilling out, and enjoying each other’s company.
Rachel reached out to me the day after Nick proposed to capture their engagement session. They wanted to show how much they loved each other through pictures since their families couldn’t celebrate the engagement with them (they were all in Michigan).
We started the session at Elwood Bluffs with the stunning mountain in the background and explored some towering trees nearby. Then, we capped off the day with the beautiful sunset at Sands Beach. I must say I had so much fun taking snapshots of this amazing couple — I just can’t wait to photograph their wedding in Michigan next year!
