Santa Barbara Engagement Session
My engagement session with Timothy and Gabriella was one to magical. The light was perfect as we spent a sunny day on the steps of the Santa Barbara Courthouse.
Tim and Gabriella have a story that spans the whole county, as they are a couple with a deep love for adventure. They met one night as Gabriella was working as a waitress in Florida. He stopped in to grab a bite to eat while traveling for work and left his number for her on a check. Initially hesitant, Gabriella decided to give him a call. Since then, they have been completely inseparable.
Soon after, Tim moved to Florida to be close to Gabriella and their journey together began. Whether they are hiking, cycling, snorkeling, playing tennis or beach volleyball, Gabriella and Tim can be found enjoying nature together every day. They love to travel and this passion has taken them around the U.S. in pursuit of the best the great outdoors can offer.
Because of the pandemic, Tim and Gabriella were able to take their work on the road and travel for much of this past year. While Tim works remotely, Gabriella’s work takes her between multiple cities in California. They even got engaged in Palm Springs. After their wedding, they plan to settle down on the east coast in Connecticut.
Soon after their Palm Springs engagement, Timothy and Gabriella contacted me to book their engagement shoot in Santa Barbara. Our session started at the Superior Court of California County of Santa Barbara. We strolled around the whole building, exploring every corner to try to find the best locations for their photos. We ended the session at the Mesa Steps.

I felt so lucky to spend time with such a sweet, warm couple. The day flew by and felt like hanging out with old friends. We got many incredible shots, and I cannot wait to photograph their wedding in Florida next year!
