Jessica and Daniel’s dreamy sunset wedding was the perfect way to celebrate their union. From breathtaking florals by Fleur de Rye Floral Studio, hosted at Kimpton Canary Hotel – it seemed that destiny brought these two together in a storybook romance for all eternity.

Though Jessica and Daniel lived within blocks of each other growing up, it took the innovative forces of a dating app to bring them together finally. When they met in Santa Monica for their first date, time flew by as if on wings, enjoying margaritas and playing pool as though simply being near one another was enough joy. 

This initial encounter blossomed into an extended weekend that proved too perfect not to continue seeing one another – embarking upon long-distance love sending messages between Sacramento and Los Angeles, thus began their courtship story.

Dan had been anxiously awaiting the perfect proposal moment on their trip to Lahaina in late September 2021 but didn’t know when or where he’d pop the question. After five months apart and a week’s worth of festivities with family and friends in Hawaii, despite their excitement, they had no choice but to call off their reservation after spending all day in the hot sun. 

The next day, fate surprised their adventurers with an unexpected twist: out of nowhere. They made an offer on the house in Lanai that had only been seen through videos. In true romantic fashion, Dan wanted to celebrate this incredible moment together by having dinner on the tiki torch-lit beach. 

As expectations were shucked away and the plan changed, it worked out perfectly as they embarked upon their newfound journey into a physical and emotional adventure. Jess was taken completely by surprise when Dan finally got down on one knee beneath a cliffside sunset – making it an unforgettable night they would never forget. To celebrate this incredible milestone in their journey together, Dan and Jessica decided to make a special evening out of it. 

Jessica and Daniel celebrated their special day in grand style at the beautiful Kimpton Canary Hotel. Surrounded by family, friends, and loved ones, they were able to make lasting memories of a dream wedding that will stay with them forever.
