Jennifer and Matthew

Jennifer and Matthew had mutual friends in high school but somehow never met until college…yet after going hiking on their first date they’ve been inseparable ever since. On July 17th, while celebrating four years together, and Matt asked the big question question…and she said YES!

Everything was planned in advance, as the proposal was a surprise. Matt suggested they take some selfies in front of the Old Mission Church in Santa Barbara. But when they got there, he asked me (the photographer, who just “happened to be there”) to take a photo with his cellphone. And when he dropped down on his knee and I started using my own camera

Both of their families came out from hiding and showered them with hugs and love. They all drove three hours from LA to Santa Barbara just to be part of this precious moment.

I had so much fun with these two, what a nice couple and family!
