Hotel Californian Wedding

Hotel Californian Wedding

Christine and George’s Hotel Californian intimate wedding was one of those days that felt simple in the best way. Small, intentional, and full of meaning. They chose to keep things intimate, which made every moment feel close and personal. I felt really honored to be there, witnessing it all unfold.

A Thoughtfully Planned

Christine and George’s day felt easy right from the start. This hotel Californian Wedding had this calm, natural flow that let them stay present and actually enjoy each moment together.

The details were just beautiful. The florals by Mackenzie Nancarrow Designs were all white and green, clean but still full of texture. There was something really modern about them, yet they still felt soft and romantic.

As everything came together, Shauna from Santa Barbara Elopement made the day feel seamless behind the scenes, so nothing ever felt rushed or stressful.

Getting Ready at the Hotel Californian

We started the day with getting ready, then moved into their first look. That moment always sets the tone, and theirs was full of excitement in the best way.

After that, we walked around the hotel for portraits. That area is always lively, and it made everything even more fun. People at nearby restaurants and out on the street were cheering, clapping, and celebrating them as they passed by. It added this unexpected energy that made the whole experience feel even more special.

A Beautiful Ceremony in Santa Barbara

The ceremony was quiet and emotional. With an intimate wedding like this, every word felt important. It gave them space to slow down and really take everything in.

Christine looked incredible with hair and makeup by TEAM Hair & Make Up. Everything felt natural and effortless, which matched the feel of the day perfectly.

Rooftop Sunset

After the ceremony, the reception was just as sweet. It was relaxed, warm, and full of laughter. Nothing over the top, just really good moments with the people who matter most.

As the day started to wind down, we headed up to the rooftop for sunset photos. The weather was perfect, and the sky had just the right amount of clouds to soften the light.

These photos are a mix of digital and film. Film especially holds that softness and emotion in such a real way, and it fit their wedding perfectly.
