This couple has an iconic story worth sharing to make your heart giggle. Carolina grew up in Santa Barbara and moved to Dallas after college and Dale was born in Canada but lived in NYC. They first met at Dale’s sister’s wedding, where he was a  groomsman and Carolina a bridesmaid. They sensed the affection from the very first meeting and felt captivated by the energy of one another. It started with a beautiful friendship, and they soon started dating as Dale had moved to Dallas 6 months after his sister’s wedding to be closer to his family.

Having several similar interests makes their bond unbreakable. But what really makes them a striking couple is the unmatchable chemistry between the two. To strengthen their majestical relationship, Dale proposed to Caroline on their rooftop terrace at their home in Dallas in April 2021. They wanted to keep their Santa Barbara engagement session intimate and filled with wonder, so I made sure they had their best day!

The photoshoot took place on an amazing sunny day, capturing their love in front of the Arlington Theatre. They had their names and wedding date written there, so it made the whole shoot even more special. Our next spot was the Santa Barbara courthouse to add an elegant touch to the photos, paired beautifully with their cowboy hats, and eyes filled with emotions.

Finally, we reached Butterfly Beach in Montecito under the vibes of the golden hour to end this gorgeous sunset engagement session. It went better than planned – everything ended up with a bunch of beautiful memories.
