Kiel and Isabel’s wedding at the stunning Villa & Vine in Santa Barbara was nothing short of breathtaking. From the moment we met, I knew this day would be special, and it truly was. Their love story started at Ohio State University, where they met seven years ago. Since then, they’ve built a beautiful life together in Del Mar with their dog, Ivy, and are always enjoying the outdoors, spending time at the beach, and cooking together.
A Day to Remember at Villa & Vine
The day began with preparations at Craft House Inn, where the couple got ready separately before coming together for their first look. From there, we headed to the iconic Santa Barbara Courthouse for family portraits, bridal party photos, romantics and their ceremony. The couple’s natural chemistry and easy-going nature made the portrait session a breeze. It’s always a joy to photograph couples who feel so comfortable in front of the camera.
Afterward, we headed to Villa & Vine for the cocktail hour and reception. The venue, with its rustic charm and elegant vibe, was the perfect backdrop for their celebration. As the sun set, guests enjoyed drinks and appetizers, while the couple took more portraits at the beautiful Arlington Theatre, where their names were proudly displayed on the marquee—a truly magical touch.
The Perfect Decor and Style
Kiel and Isabel’s wedding reflected their laid-back, California vibe, with light green, pale yellow, and light blue hues throughout. The table settings featured bud vases and a family-style meal that made the evening feel intimate and relaxed. Isabel looked stunning in her Anne Barge gown, while Kiel was dashing in a tux from Black Tux. Their bridal party, dressed in yellow silk dresses from Shona Joy, added a splash of color and elegance to the day.
