Lily and Khoi’s wedding at the Santa Barbara club was a complete dream. Some say their match was made in heaven, while others say the “Universe” brought these two together for the most beautiful union.
Khoi and Lily met through colleagues at a work event in San Francisco. They were both from Portland. However, Khoi relocated to SF for work later. Little did Lily know that Khoi had a crush on her, but Khoi decided not to pursue anything due to the long distance.
A few months later, Lily also moved to SF for a promotion. Khoi started inviting her to hang out with his friends and explore the city on weekends. After a couple of group hangouts, Khoi asked Lily out on their first date, and the rest is history.
They are very similar and share the same adventurous spirit. They explore new places together while spending quality time with friends and family.
Khoi and Lily’s romance hit an incredible high point in September 2020 in Seattle. Gas Works Park witnessed a magical out-of-the-blue proposal that left everyone cheering – she said yes without even waiting for him to finish. It was surely the cutest moment of all.
Finally, it was time for their big day! We started the day with their prep. at the Santa Barbara Club, then we went to Santa Barbara Courthouse for their first look, romantic portraits, bridal party, and family formals. After photographing these stunning shots at one of my favorite locations in SB, we headed back to their venue for their ceremony and reception. I can’t forget to tell you that we sneaked out during dinner for some stunning sunset portraits at Butterfly Beach in Montecito, and it was so worth it!
Back at their wedding venue, music played softly in the background setting a magical atmosphere throughout the venue decorated with beautiful flowers everywhere, reminding them of how far they’d come together since first meeting in San Francisco.
I had the privilege of capturing a timeless reminder of their joyous union in beautiful wedding photos at the Santa Barbara Courthouse and the Santa Barbara Club. I still remember amazing moments like Khoi’s happy tears when he saw Lily during the first look and his reaction when Lily walked down the aisle.
