I’m absolutely obsessed with Haley and Tim’s San Marcos Foothills engagement session! This stunning location in Santa Barbara offered the perfect sunny vibe when our original beach plans didn’t pan out due to fog. The San Marcos Foothills is one of my favorite spots for engagement sessions, with its breathtaking mountain views and natural beauty.

We had originally planned for a beach session, but when the fog rolled in, Haley and Tim were hoping for something sunnier, and thankfully, this location was only a short 10-minute drive away. The backdrop of the foothills reminded me of Ohio, which is where Haley and Tim are tying the knot, making the setting even more special for them.

To add a personal touch, Haley brought along cowboy hats that belong to her grandpa. It was such a meaningful gesture, and I was so happy when she shared how much it meant to him when he saw the final images.

Haley and Tim are such a sweet and elegant couple, and their chemistry in front of the camera was undeniable. They told me they weren’t sure what to do in front of the lens, but honestly, they looked like absolute naturals — their photos could have come straight out of a magazine!
