Ritz Carlton Bacara Wedding in Santa Barbara

Taylor and Nick’s wedding at the Ritz-Carlton Bacara in Santa Barbara was one of those days that felt joyful from start to finish. I first met them while photographing another wedding back in 2024, so being part of their celebration felt like a full-circle moment. On top of that, one of the couples whose wedding I’ll be photographing in 2026 was also there. Because of that, the day felt like a reunion filled with familiar faces and shared memories.

A Joyful Santa Barbara Wedding by the Coast

With ocean views and soft Santa Barbara light, the day unfolded under clear blue skies and warm sunshine. From the start, Taylor and Nick were all smiles, laughing and giggling their way through the day. They stayed fully present and truly soaked it all in. At the same time, the energy around them felt fun and relaxed. Their guests brought so much love and excitement, which made the celebration even more special.

Meanwhile, planning and design by Wedding Kate brought everything together seamlessly. The timeline flowed beautifully, and as a result, the couple and their guests never felt rushed. Instead, everyone had time to enjoy each moment as it came.

Elegant White and Blue Floral Design

Another highlight of the day was the floral design by City Flower LA. Soft white and blue florals added a fresh and timeless feel. They complemented the coastal setting perfectly. At the same time, the arrangements felt elegant without feeling heavy, which matched the overall vibe of the day so well.

Being behind the camera on days like this always feels special. Even more so when the celebration includes people I’ve photographed before and couples I’ll get to work with again in the future. Moments like these are exactly why I love what I do.
