The location and setting of the Alisal Ranch wedding for Hannah and Ron was absolutely breathtaking.
The stunning location and breathtaking views made it a day that they will never forget. The Alisal Ranch was the perfect setting for Hannah and Ron’s wedding ceremony and reception. The couple exchanged their vows between a two-pillar arch made of flowers and greenery, which took 2 hours to make on site (by the amazing @ruffleeffect).
Soft lighting, elegant table settings, and lush floral arrangements created an intimate ambiance that perfectly captured the couple’s love for one another. Guests were also treated to a delicious meal prepared by the ranch’s talented chefs. From local wines to farm-fresh ingredients, every dish showcased the best that California has to offer.
The menu featured farm-to-table cuisine that highlighted the best of California’s local produce, including grilled vegetables, roasted chicken, and fresh salads. The dessert table was a feast for the eyes as well as the stomachs – it featured an array of pies, cakes, and cookies that were almost too pretty to eat. Overall, Hannah and Ron’s wedding at Alisal Ranch was a stunning celebration of their love that perfectly captured their laid-back yet elegant style.
Hannah and Ron’s love story began in college, they met in their senior year in college and spent many years a floor apart not knowing each other existed! They hit it off right away and quickly became inseparable. These two engineers, love to golf, hang with family, travel, and be active, and have been together for almost 8 years
Their proposal story: Ron booked a trip to Catalina under the guise of a birthday trip. He planned a grand weekend on the island, staying at the Wrigley House (Mt. Ada). At golden hour (Hannah’s favorite time of day) they went for a walkout to Buena Vista Point where he popped the question! He even had a photographer hiding in the background to capture the moment!
They spent the weekend enjoying and celebrating before heading home to tell the family!
The slightly cloudy day with some sunshine between clouds was a perfect backdrop for romantic portraits, capturing memories that will last a lifetime. I can’t forget Hannah’s father’s car which was the perfect addition to their photos. I feel honored that they chose me to photograph their wedding day, It was magical in every single way!
