Lacey and Michael’s love story has unfolded over the years, culminating in a breathtaking wedding at the Greengate Ranch and Vineyard in San Luis Obispo. The couple chose to infuse their special day with the laid-back charm of a tropical Hawaiian theme. The venue was adorned with vibrant decorations, including delicate orizuru, and the traditional Japanese origami cranes.
Collaborating with my dear friend and wedding planner Kristi Dibbern during the summer wedding was an absolute joy. The weather was on our side, providing the perfect backdrop for a day filled with love and warmth. And let’s not forget Lacey’s dress – a stunning, sexy ensemble that complemented her radiance as a bride ready to step into a new chapter of her life.
The couple’s first dance was a soulful moment, set to the melodious notes of Alicia Keys’ “If Ain’t You Babe.” As they swayed together on the dance floor, surrounded by family and friends, it was evident that their connection was as beautiful and harmonious as the music playing in the background.
Lacey and Michael’s love story began back in 2008 during their first week at UC Davis. Both feeling a bit hesitant about college life, they couldn’t have predicted how this serendipitous decision would shape their future. From awkward Facebook messaging and clumsy encounters in the dining commons, their journey had a humble start.
In September 2021, on their 12th dating anniversary, Michael proposed to Lacey at Fort Funston, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The engagement marked the beginning of a new chapter, filled with anticipation, laughter, and the joy of knowing they were meant to be together. Now, as they tie the knot in a beautiful ceremony at Greengate Ranch and Vineyard, we celebrate the journey of Lacey and Michael, a love story that has grown richer with each passing year.
Being part of their wedding was nothing short of a blessing. Love radiated from every corner, and it was infectious. These two are a match made in heaven, and their wedding was a true celebration of that love.
